Most journals apply one pip rule to everything and quietly mis-state your results on anything that is not a four-decimal major. SureInsight derives the value from the instrument, so a JPY cross and a gold position are each priced the way the broker priced them.
EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD — pip is the fourth decimal.
USDJPY, EURJPY — pip is the second decimal, and the value moves with the rate.
XAUUSD and XAGUSD priced per ounce, not treated as a currency pair.
US30, GER40 and similar CFDs priced per index point.
Forex is the one market where the clock changes the instrument. The same pair behaves differently at 02:00 and 14:00, and most traders make their money in a narrower window than they think. Your trades are grouped by session automatically — no tagging.
MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and cTrader sync automatically — closed positions appear without an export. Everything else imports from the broker's own CSV or HTML statement, including the 30-plus formats we already recognise.
